11 Interesting things about Supernatural!!!

Supernatural is an American dark ( horror) fantasy tv show started in 2005 by Eric Kripke, an American writer. This show has gained immense popularity in its home country. In India, it arrived when amazon prime launched. It is one of the longest tv show, which lasted till 2020. The 15 years of the tale itself tells the super story of achievement. Supernatural might be the only tv show which has got more than 100000 fanfiction.

People generally believe that horror shows or movies mean something full of dread, which is mostly true. But this isn't another regular horror show. It has some horrifying violent content as it's a horror show (despite the horror scenes last only for a few seconds, still not for kids or tender hearts.) Apart from that, Supernatural is a fantastic show. If it were only about horror, The viewers would not have loved it for so long. Only dark or horror can't hold any viewer till so long. More than a dark fantasy supernatural is a story of a stunning brother duo, Dean & Sam Winchester. From the very first episode, the story holds the grip till the end of the show. What is so interesting about this long-lasting tv show? There are many exciting things about supernatural phenomena. Be it concerts, events, fandom sites, etc. The list is long.

11 Awesome plot– As mentioned above, the show holds the grip within 2 minutes. A full-grown night shadow has covered the silence of the street. Night silence turns towards a house where moonlight is gleaming just then something moves outside. Inside a home, there come a loving mother, Mary Winchester, perfect father John Winchester & two baby boys. They are about to say goodnight to each other after a long day. They go to sleep with a smile. Hearing her baby's cry, Mary goes to his room. Where she finds a shadow standing at the window. She takes a shadow as John. When downstairs, John has just slept while watching tv. Having watched this, she terrified. She rushes upstairs. A few seconds later, John hears her yelling. There he sees. Mary is gone, killed by the unknown. John leaves his home with his sons with a sharp sting in his heart to find his wife's killer while having no clues, no way, not knowing what to do. John is unaware of that killer, as who or what it was. Unknowingly John Winchester enters into the world of monsters, demons & creatures. Spending 22 years of his life as a hunter, one day he's lost. The story starts when John Winchester goes missing & a routine of their life breaks. John's boys have grown up in all dangers. To find their father, the brothers have to step into the dominating world of unknown & unimaginable creatures are waiting to welcome them.                               

10. Time –As said, it started in 2005 and continued with the same story flow until it ended in 2020. The show has given us all the visible contrast of time. It's a delight to watch the ambience, the language. There are few old times like 1861 in the old west or other old-time 1940s. They have captured it all. Blending various times in one show while streaming the same grip is rare entertainment. 

9. Dark fantasy with a brighter side- This is a dark fantasy (horror). The story has some dark places, evil entity & all. All of these factors sound gloomy. But these are not vital factors of the show. The key elements are only two Dean & Sam Winchester. The horror show has some creepy scenes, but the intense picturization of life has almost nullified all the blood and gory scenes. The story has a handsome crush on the brother duo. It eliminates the horror effect in no time. The vulnerability of horror has no ruling impact on the show at all. The contrast between movie & tv script could be screen & teleplay, including duration. But some fundamentals may be the same for film & tv, such as creating character detailing, technical elements, editing. There is a subcategory of horror movies such as gore & disturbing, psychological, killer, monster, paranormal, sci-fi, slasher, gothic,  suspense horror. The core of horror remains the same in every movie considering in horror context, more than anything, a horror film intends to give you scary effect in one tell. The horror genre is fascinating. But you don't find any good connection in any horror movie, no matter how big a hit it is. It has limited boundaries. But supernatural is a show where you want to stay more, grow more. It's full of life show. It's not a hit for the horror content but life content. The show is about the Winchester brothers, and the horror is just a minor part. The Dark Fantasy tag is just a tag.

8. No predicted ends- Every tv show's story has little predictability. You watch the show & you know the drill. Still, in this show, there is a wow factor you can see in every episode. Well, it's hard to define this lengthy show in one line. So, by all means, the long 15 years of this show has enough room for surprises. The story steps forward with the brother duo's strategy, including research, hunting, fights. So then, many times, long-running shows lose a grip. & You don't want to watch it, or you leave it in the middle of the episodes. Supernatural won't displease you by the same pattern of the end. It delivers a thin air twist to each episode end to shift you to the next episode. The revelatory factor is that each episode's end prompts you to the next episode.

7. World mythology - Considering in fantasy terms, Supernatural has explored almost every mythology regarding evils on Earth.  Be it is Greek, European, Egyptian, Indian, Algonquian or Rome. Every episode has a new myth to watch, which broadens the vitality of the fantasy show.

6. BFF like Castiel –

Ever since Castiel enters from season 4, Dean & Sam Winchesters seem more settled in their hunting business. Castiel is a friend whom everybody needs. The previous seasons have started to appear just like the beginning of the show after Misha Collin's arrival as Castiel. The story has kind of little suspense before his arrival, which afterwards turns into layers of suspense. Misha Collin's acting proves more of his potent than his beefy role, from Castiel's impassive dull talks (who feels nothing as he is not human, an angel) to the greed of becoming the highest with a madness requires a lot more efforts than no matter how beefy role you have been offered. Castiel leads the entire angel stuff weight in the show. He is always a relief to watch as he reinforces the Winchesters.  

5. Supporting cast – Apart from the lead characters, all Supernatural supporting cast is excellent. The biggest compliment to the show is its supporting cast.

Pick anyone, Jeffrey Dean Morgan as John Winchester,

a father of Winchester brothers & the inspiration of DeanSam's shatterproof rugged genes.

Next is Samantha Smith as Mary Winchester, a gorgeous lady with no less than hulk mettle. She is the origin of a hunter's sturdy world. Mary & John Winchester  clear out the dilemma about hunters  as they are the best of hunters of the world regardless of our active prefrontal cortexes (as it says  there  are no hunters  in the world )               

Crowly,

despite his being a king of hell, we love crowly. We want a demon like him. The actor who plays Crowly is Mark Sheppard. His portrayal could be one of the most tricky ones. As a tag defines him as a devil .& he continuously has to negotiate with no land for the demon's uprightness. Besides he indulges in evil levity which makes no difference with his bonding to the Winchester brothers. The hard part is not having a swinging heart with more sins than lily-white but fetching a tag as a good heart despite all intended & committed sins. 

 There is a long list of all this fantastic support cast like Jeam Beaver as Bobby singer, A  father figure to Winchesters, Mark Pellegrino as Lucifer, simply no one else could raise the hell like him. As sheriff Jody mills, Kim Rhodes, with her serene smile, holds this prevailing sense of safety shield to the others. There are many notable roles in the supernatural, which is totally accountable to each episode's super flow.

4. Brothers-

The pillar of the show is Dean & Sam's bonding. Dean & Sam's chemistry is incredible. No alternate at all! Their bond emerges within a time to let you feel the blood relation's purity & depth as brothers. Spn is a full package entertainer with every shade of emotion;  horror, pain, tragedy, comic, love. But it may not have the core touch only with the random expression of relationship. Spn has got this very requirement, the sentiments as the best earned for the Winchester brothers. Since their personality type is not constricted, the viewers can easily relate to them. Their life is not perfect at all, including that Winchester didn't have any love life. Still, there's an instant connection between the viewers & Winchesters. They are having a vast of life. Sometimes the viewers want to see their love interest, but at the very same moment, it doesn't seem so grand as to compare with their solid brotherhood & the great deeds they have done for the others in the show, of course, are way too heavy to level their love interest. Or simply they don't have any space for love life.& we are very much happy to watch their brotherhood & sometimes bromance !!

3. Sense of humour- It makes you laugh more often.  Despite all the gory scenes, the show has many comic times. When you burst out in laughter. Even if it's made-up scenes, it's intrigued by the story's progress & pure fun to watch. When Castiel reunites with Crowley  in season 7, episode 23, the survival of the fittest:11.33                     

 Dean & Sam summon Crowly as they don't count Crowley s reaction after seeing Castiel is alive. (In season 6, Castiel & crowly had a contract & poor crowly helped him in the entire season. In the last, Castiel broke the contract & made Crowly run.) After that, Crowly sees Castiel with Sam & Dean when they summon him. & Crowly yells furiously.

No one makes you laugh as many times as Dean Winchester can. When Dean & Sam do a scooby doo season 13, episode 16, Dean is already fascinated by the scooby doo team & at the end of the episode, when he got alive out of the tv, he flings the villain out by wearing an ascot, standing there with a cute smile. 

Or be it the season 4, episode 6 when Dean just got scared of a little cat.

Or in season9, episode 5, Dean drinks a potion to understand an animal language & He lands up with a mess of every animal's tongue.

 Every episode has these hilarious moments. No matter how dark is the demon or evil you see in the show, they make sure how to roll you in the aisles.

2. Sam Winchester –

At last, one of the show's lead is Sam Winchester, played by Jared Padalecki. He has been tagged many times in a show as "A handsome guy with broad shoulders." & Screenrant finds out Sam Winchester's personality as - INFJ, introverted, intuitive, feeling & judging. 

Jared Padalecki as Sam has all the superior quality in the world, but above all, he intensifies the show rigorously. For sure, this super decent hunk goes beyond the limit for the sentiments. Jared Padalecki's acting has a depth of staying natural & leading viewers to the hope of "yet to reveal one more secret!

Finally & absolutely- "awesome." He is none other than Dean Winchester, aka Jensen Ackles. Dean is a funhouse himself. According to the Screenrant, Dean Winchester has MBTI traits like ESTP, but this handsome guy with a ruling voice & a fantastic sense of humour wins viewers' hearts immediately as an alpha type. Dean's free & easy nature can take the hell down literally when needed. Jensen Ackles acting actually lifts all the beefy content of the show till the end. If Sam Winchester is the core sentimentality, then Dean Winchester is the heart of the show.
