10 simple ways to grow nails faster!
You always wanted to grow long nails. You tried each possible way but it didn’t help. Either it broke or took too long to grow. The reason could be many, you may have thin nails or you have more water exposure or you bite them in tension.
First of all, be it long or short nails. It should be healthy. Healthy nails are smooth strong, without any spots & with the firm-healthy colour of nails. It doesn’t matter whether it is short or long it looks just perfect.
Nails need proper blood circulation, food & water to grow just like hair. If you want to grow it faster it needs proper care for uninterruptable growth which can stay longer.

To grow nails faster the cell growth needs to be boosted as well. Every vitamins & mineral are required for cell growth. The first thing should be food. In any type of physical growth, the body does require proper food. For faster growth of nails, there are few vitamins vitamin-A, zinc & phosphorous which play a pivotal role in nails growth. Which should be continued with biotin,vitamin-B, iron,vitamin-c magnesium etc. Whatever food is required for your hair growth considerably can be counted as nail food also.

As kids, our nails were softer & as adults, our nails are dryer than kids. So we need more water to hydrate & supple it.

If you consider your diet is insufficient in providing each vitamin properly, if you skip any of your meal if in any way your diet is not perfect you can consider taking vitamin supplements for nails.
But before you gulp any vitamin supplements, you should consult your doctor for proper guidance.

4 Massage -Massage your hands every single day if you want to grow nails faster. Massage your hands at least once a day. Instead of using any hand moisturiser, you should opt for coconut, almond or jojoba oil. Any oil will do & help you in growing nails providing you massage your hands daily & keep it nourished. When you massage your hands it gives pressure on your fingers. Consider it like when you remove finger ring using two or three fingers just like that use all fingers & do the same as you are pulling finger-ring. Massage by pushing cuticles ahead. After you finished massage tap your fingertips on the table for at least 5 minutes to increase the growth rate.
Above 4 are basics to do for the faster growth of nails. Rest of the ways are to keep your nails stronger & protected from breaking & chipping for long life. The length of the nails couldn’t be grown in a few days. It does take months but yes it’s growing every day. But the tiny growth can’t be seen. The growth ratio comes between 1 to 3.5 mm per month. It depends on the overall health of a person.
5 Cuticle care — We hardly pay attention to cuticle care. It’s important for nail growth. The cuticle protects nails from bacteria so cuticle should be kept clean and neat. Cleansing and moisturising it is just 2 simple short ways to keep it in good function.
6 Manicure — Manicure is a beauty regime. Doing manicure is good for blood circulation & helpful for growth. It cleanses your nails, leaves it soft and supple. For growth promotion doing manicure isn’t mandatory. Cleansing and nourishing can be simply done at home.
7 File it or not — Filing nails is a good habit to keep your nails in shape. When nails grow long, its edges go thin, if your nails are thin, regular filing is a good option to make nail edge bit thicker. Do it tactfully. So in this particular case filing is favourable. If your nails don’t grow in shape then also filing is useful.
And if you have thick nails with good shape then you don’t need to file it until you want to cut them.
8 Protection from breaking& chipping — After food and care here comes protection. First, protect your nails from overexposure to water. Excessive water usage can really cut down the growth rate of nails even the fastest-growing nails. However, water exposure can’t be minimized. So whenever your nails come in contact with water either you use hand gloves or simply apply oil after.
9 Nail strengthener — This product is very good to keep nails strong even in water exposure. Use it wisely as it also can dry your nails in 2 conditions, you use it excessively or you apply it twice or thrice. Using good quality nail strengthener is important as poor quality nail strengthener doesn’t mean to provide any protection. You can use keratin strengthener also. It may sound odd but to have the maximum benefit from it give your nails a quick massage with coconut oil before applying nail strengthener because nail strengthener is one type of polish only which has almost the same ingredients as colour polish. So it must be used in balancing way. Let the oil be absorbed for 10 minutes then without washing or wiping your hands apply strengthener. It will help in increasing nails strength.
10 Polish — For stronger nails, you should always polish it. Nails don’t need to breathe, it’s your eyes which let it breathe when it’s not polished. That means practically there’s hardly any connection between nails & breath. Two or three coat will keep it strong. Avoid excessive use of nail remover. It can dry your nails. Instead of it whenever you want to change the nail paint use transparent nail paint itself. It does less dry your nails & prevents from being brittle.
