3 Grab your sleep :

Just like proper food enough sleep plays the same role in keeping you focused. If you are in search of focus you need to understand your sleep also. Insufficient sleep can give you no less frustration than an incomplete task. If you try to complete your task with poor sleep it would turn into havoc. Some people have this ability to pull off work nicely even in less sleep. But it is applicable for a limited time only. Maybe you can do it twice or thrice. In long run to let function your mind fully sleep is important.
Doctors do advise for 7 to 8 hours of sleep every day. There are simple ways to sleep early:
Avoid looking at any screen 1 hour before going to bed.
Eat before 2 to 3 hours of sleep. So you don’t feel heavy or uncomfortable.
Avoid caffeine at night.
Try to meditate or listen to frequency music.
Create comfortable and clean surroundings.
4 Embrace the ongoing actions, not only the occurrence :

When you plan your goal you already have watched that successful occurrence. Don’t watch it as a one-time. Try to make it as lifelong episodes. For example, you started a new business from home. Afterward, you plan to buy a large office with a beautiful interior someday. Considering only the incident won’t let you access your potential work strategy to the fullest.
Once you embrace the procedure as an incident it will double your efforts towards your goal. The procedure of expanding your business every day is closer and real to you to focus on. These stepping stones may help you to build a foundation of your focus towards your goal.

5 Stop distractions :
We rather see visual distractions as amusements. Hence it’s difficult to turn off. Every time your phone beeps for a message you are tempted to see. Messages then mail. Checking a phone every 10 minutes is almost a habit of everybody even when it’s not required. For example, if you are a gadget freak and someone talks about it you immediately surf your laptop to know the stuff.
In-office lots of talks are meant to happen. Your colleague may interrupt you more often if you don’t tell them not to be disturbed until some particular time. Eventually, distractions plunge you into habitual action.
All these external distractions can be taken care of instantly. While internal distractions or disturbances stick with you to not let you work at full potential. 6 Eat on time :

An empty stomach, empty mind. Have your food on time. Eat at regular intervals. The important thing is to eat on time. Breakfast is one of the main meals of the day it should be full of protein. Select foods which are high in vitamins and don’t give you bloated feelings.
There are lots of brain foods that can boost your focus. Blueberries, pumpkin seeds, dark chocolates, supplements, etc.
7 Follow your interests:

The focus will be easy for you if you love your work or study. And you love it indeed with discipline. Discipline is a mediator between work and focus. You have to sit straight for hours to finish your task. For how long you can do any task?
At some point, you may get agitated. The mind needs to freshen up. You need to be relaxed. Relaxation comes in lots of ways. One of the ways is to follow your hobby.
Workload makes you forget your interests which you used to do. Because we often think that fun time is over when life gets busier with work. 8 Say no to multitasking:
It happens often with many people that if the work is easy, it tempts you to involve the other easy tasks. On a belief that easy task can be done in no time.
And when the work is tough you may allure to do other uncomplicated tasks simultaneously. In both situations, people procrastinate on a real task.
Multi-tasking is a temptation to start at a time but it may end in the chaos of completing nothing. Multitasking distributes focus very quickly. Both the elements, distribution, and quickness, are not meant to be with focus. Focus is meant to be for one task at a time So it can give a value to a task.
9 Stay aware and alive to every moment :
Everybody is aware of the importance of time and the perception “life is too short to complete everything in time.”
You have to complete one task and start another. You have to reach somewhere in time. Your busy schedule makes you run. If you don’t then your work pressure will push you. For example, you are at your desk, need to complete a task by the evening and your target is neither a task nor a focus, it’s a time. Time makes you worried and ultimately you cant focus. And focus does not relate to time anyhow. Dwelling into future time won’t let you concentrate.
If you need to focus pause your past and future for some time. If Your mind is preoccupied with lots of stuff your focus will be scattered and will not notice any live moment or even the matter you want to focus on.
Being attentive at the very moment gives you a keen understanding of the matter you want to accomplish. To concentrate on the present, overt and covert, both attentions are necessary.
Practicing on both, overt and covert awareness may consume mental hard work but it’s worth having a present time by your side.

10 Take a short break :
Just like following your hobby which can enhance your focus, taking a short break is a way to quickly unwind yourself.
Every day is almost the same with the same work, same study. There’s no option. When you work for long hours it starts to feel torpidity after few hours. No matter how much hard you try to complete the task will only take you to inanition. And you start to think that you are lacking in focus or somehow unable to complete it. At this point, It’s necessary to take a short break.
Constantly working on the same project or studying the same subject will hold your mind in a loop of the restricted flow. Of course, doing the same work for so long has a reverence for being an expert, at the same time, it needs fresh air to keep it going.
A tiny 10 or 15 minutes break can sometimes do a miracle to your work. It can be anything, take a walk, pat a pet, eat ice cream in winter, talk to a stranger, help someone, play a prank on your colleague do anything which brings you a smile. Just keep it going.
